Better Work Teams

We offer our Better Questions communication workshops to groups of people so they value and respect each other and release the untapped potential in their colleagues, resulting in more motivated, creative, capable and harmonious work teams.

We know that if every member of your team learns this powerful communication model that it will not only bring out the best in each individual, it will enhance the performance of the entire team.

The Better Questions technique is an easy to apply, yet extremely effective communications tool that improves workplace communication by providing a simple framework that allows all team members the opportunity to feel heard, respected and invited to contribute.

These easy to learn communication techniques improve group dynamics, which results in teams working more cohesively, using more creativity and resourcefulness. In addition, each team member is enabled to take more responsibility and feel more confident and empowered.

When teams use the skill of asking Better Questions they are more engaged and motivated leading to better outcomes for all.

Work Teams Testimonials

"The team got a great deal out of the training.  They were practising their questioning on me when they arrived back!!  Thank you for taking them on the journey. It makes such a difference when a team has good questioning capacity – they can be conscious of what they’re doing and others around them. As you know I believe this type of training is essential!"
Rosie Rowe, Director, Primary and Preventative Health, Western District Health Service

“Whilst the team really enjoyed Lindsay’s Better Teams workshop, particularly her warmth and humour, it was her challenge to us to think about our questioning and listening that resonated the most. Since the session our questioning has been more thoughtful and our capacity to really hear someone else’s story (without jumping in with our own!) has helped us in our relationships with our colleagues, the children and their families. We are now on our potentialising journey!”
Robyn Daff, Team Leader Long Day Care & Family Day Care, City of Kingston

“I found the workshop to be inspiring and motivating not only for myself but also my colleagues. The workshop is fun and informative and gives you the tools you need to unlock the full potential of all members of your team. I highly recommend the 'Better Teams ask Better Questions Workshop”
Emilea DeMamiel, Educational Leader, City Of Kingston Child Care Centre

"Just a short note to say thank-you for the training you ran for Scope Therapy Team Southern Region on “Asking Better Questions” The session was engaging and informative. Staff feedback after the session focused on how valuable it was to reflect on their practise and the impact of how “asking Better Questions” could enhance their work with families, peers and colleagues. A highly valuable session!"
Roxanne Higgins, Manager Therapy Psychology and Related Services, SCOPE

"Thank you very much for the inspiring and informative session on Asking Better Questions. The feedback from the session was excellent, therefore highly valued by the team. Even more importantly I regularly hear team members talking about how they incorporate what they learnt into their everyday MCH practice. My colleagues within Family and Children’s Services have also shown a keen interest. I believe the principals learnt can be applied to any professional or personal setting. Thank you once again, l look forward to working with you again in
the future"
